Copyright & DMCA Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
ID Library respects the rights of artists, labels, promoters and other rights holders, and responds to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.
What we host
The site does not host audio or video. Track information is factual metadata (artist, title, label, chart position) with links to public sources. Any clip or footage used on our social channels comes only from official artist, label or promoter uploads, or is explicitly reusable, and is credited.
Submitting a takedown notice
If you believe content on ID Library (or our official social channels) infringes your copyright, email contact@theidlibrary.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:
- Your physical or electronic signature (as the rights owner or someone authorized to act for them).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The specific URL(s) or post(s) of the material you want removed.
- Your name, address, phone number and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
What happens next
We aim to review notices promptly and remove or disable access to material that is reasonably claimed to be infringing. Where possible, we will notify the person who submitted it.
Counter-notices
If your submission was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
Repeat infringers
We may remove content from, and restrict access for, users who repeatedly infringe.
Trademarks
Artist, label and event names and logos belong to their owners. For trademark concerns, use the same contact address.
